meritocracy gets rid of populism in politics

Democracy is a flawed and failed system. You gotta EARN the right to vote. If you don't know diddly you don't get to vote: Meritocracy.

History has shown us that democracy is a dangerous system. It gave rise to the likes of A. Hitler, A. schwarzenegger, George W. Bush, Robert Mugabe, Jake the snake Ventura, Ahmedinedjad and Wilders.

Time to learn from mistakes: don't blame the politicians, blame the voters. No, blame their ignorance. It is ignorance that gives rise to populists. The majority of mankind isn't lead by occasional feelings of morality and even less by their own interest; they are lead by the needs of the moment.

So i say: you want to vote, you gotta know what you're talking about. Before you vote, you gotta pass the test. Know the numbers, the bare facts. If you past the test and you still vote Wilders, at least you are a certified fool.

Politicians: don't argue with Wilders, never argue with a fool. He'll drag you down to his level and beat you at it.

and journalists: No more street interviews! Ask people who are likely to know, not random people.
